I'm subscribed to Astrill VPN and it is not possible to install it on this router without to flash DD-WRT.. It is truly plug - & - play : simply plug the freeplug main of the freebox on a multiple socket. Once the freebox has restarted, connect the adapter to devolo on the same power strip, it automatically syncs. Then, you can plug this adapter anywhere in the house and it was a relay effective wifi with a strong signal and stable. At the hotel, or at home, just plug it in connect the network cable and voila you have a WLAN secure code (on the box). Works perfectly. The device does its job effectively. 2 caveats however : the wifi of the extender carries a different identifier, if you move around with a tablet, it is necessary to manually switch from one wifi to another... 2nd b-flat, a tv that does not support the vicinity of the repeater. Compact and do his Work, nothing more to say about this product. I use it with a IP camera Vivotek without a problem. The Wi-fi card from my PC of 5 years old became ill; sometimes the connection was still working with weak force. It is weird that of smaller antennas (official) work better than large antennas.. Received 18 hours after ordering (premium mode) but box already opened with sealed plastic bag of the card torn? !!! Under Win 7 the driver mini cd that comes with is is installed in less than a minute and the card was immediately operational. This card comes as a replacement for a Hercules special LiveBox, and it is now possible to detect 5 or 6 wifi connections at most of the neighborhood. So very good sensitivity and excellent price/quality ratio. On the manual in French, it is well specified for the OS that it is supported up to Win 7. Win 8 and 8. 1 are not mentioned.. The picture is clear day but the night vision is really not terrible (inability to recognize people). Rate high, System by magnet interesting but lack a really secure fastening. I bought this wifi key for my laptop including the integrated wifi card is faulty. Who needs mobility more than it hangs on wifi over hundreds of meters, I chose this model that is both compact and inexpensive. After several months of use I'm still satisfied with my purchase. I do not encounter any disconnection pop up, I was able to connect to different networks without worries using the software netgear. I use this adapter for almost 4 years and I still can't complain : the cables are resistant, the dongle is recognized by windows 7 only installs the recommended drivers, and my controllers will sync with the first shot.
